A Thank You Note

It is now about four hours before we start our journey home and we wanted to just say a Thank You to all who helped made the journey possible.

First, thanks to God for the blessing of health and the opportunities to take this period of time to see and experience the beauty of His creation. We are also thankful for the many insights and different perspectives we have been given as we have traveled the Mediterranean. We have met wonderful people and have had the opportunity to experience life in a different way.

Second, we would like to thank our family for making this possible. Thanks for supporting us with your prayers and thoughts and for taking care of the details of everyday life in our absence. We appreciated your correspondence with us; providing us with a touch of home.

Third, a thank you to our colleagues at Peachwood Medical Group and Medical Ministries International who graciously gave us this time of reprieve and adventure. We are forever indebted to you for this gift.

And lastly a special thank you to our friend and travel agent Kelly Martinez at The Travel Shoppe. Kelly has helped us with our travel needs for nearly twenty years and always takes good care of us. We intentionally did not plan a firm timeline for when we would leave one country for another, allowing us the opportunity to stay longer if we so desired. This meant that many flights and hotel reservations were planned on the move by email, which we are sure presented a challenge to her. But she was always able to get us just the right flight or place to stay. Thanks Kelly.

So, again, thanks to you all. It has been a wonderful trip and we are looking forward to seeing you soon. Wait till you hear about our next travel plans!
